Lassiter received a $100,000 bond and Thursday court date. He also has a pending court date of June 17 in Northampton County for possession of a firearm by a felon. In Hertford County he is scheduled to appear in court on May 7 for possession of stolen property, breaking and entering counts, felon in possession of a firearm, safecracking and injury to property counts.

Spivey received a $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court today.

The men were recently arrested by Hertford County Sheriff’s Office and were found in possession of numerous stolen items from break-ins. Investigations continue and more charges are expected in the coming weeks.

Northampton County Sheriff Jack Smith commended Roye for “swiftly working this case and gathering enough evidence to bring charges against these subjects involved in the recent breaking and entering and larceny of this residence.”

Said Smith: “Anyone who is a victim of a breaking and entering or any crime is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office or their local agency.”

Smith also acknowledged the Hertford County Sheriff’s Office for its assistance in the joint investigation. “We will work together with and assist all agencies local and far to investigate any crimes.”
