A search warrant execution in Woodland Wednesday afternoon netted trafficking amounts of heroin along with cocaine and marijuana.

Lieutenant C.A. Parker of the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office said the Down East Drug Task Force and the criminal investigation division of the sheriff’s office with assistance from the United States Department of Homeland Security executed the search warrant around 1 p.m. in the 100 block of Burgwyn Street .

The agents seized 14 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of marijuana and 70 bindles of heroin. Pills and a digital scale were also seized.

Citizen and officer complaints of possible drug sales launched an investigation by Agent R.T. Horton over the last several months which culminated with the issuance of the search warrant.

Horton arrested and charged Dajuan Bowser, 21, for felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges on the heroin have not yet been filed as investigation continues.
