Data on recoveries and current cases is expected to be reported Wednesday.

With a sustained increase in the trend of positive cases continuing, health Director Bruce Robistow said this evening, “We’ve had over 100 new positive cases within the last four days and added two deaths in the same timeframe. The vaccinations have started in some areas but anticipation is five to six months of vaccinations to get us to a herd immunity that could give us some form of normalcy. Therefore, it remains ever-critical to practice the Three W’s — handwashing, wearing a facial covering, and waiting 6-feet apart so we can keep the numbers lower.”
