The CAM I AM Youth Foundation Inaugural Kickz 4 Kidz provided shoes to families in Weldon City Schools.
Due to the pandemic, the donation was accepted by the district for distribution to families in need.
A wide assortment of athletic, casual, and dress shoes ranging from toddler to adult shoes was received and available through the districtwide clothing closet.
Cameron Massenburg, founder, and CEO of The CAM I AM Youth Foundation selected Weldon City Schools as an often-overlooked small-town community.
CAM I AM is located in Raleigh with a mission to achieve the highest standards through mentorship to develop the youth in all aspects of life, ranging from emotional stability, financial literacy, credit competence, networking, entrepreneurship, and mental health.
They are committed to building a rapport, establishing sturdy relationships, and fostering youth into conducive environments that aides them in being successful. Kickz 4 Kidz is a service project of the CAM I AM Basketball youth group.
The shoes are available to families within the Weldon City Schools community.
