Criminal investigations Sergeant Gorton Williams of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following crimes in which investigators are seeking the public’s help:

Detectives are investigating a larceny at Sheetz on August 23.
The suspect took two cases of beer.
He left the scene in a blue Ford Explorer with the North Carolina license plate of “FLJ-5941.” The suspect is an older white male wearing a lime green face mask, a light colored T-shirt, dark colored shorts, and flip flops.
Vehicle break-ins

Multiple vehicles were broken into in the parking lot of New Day Fitness on August 20 around 8:45 p.m.
The suspect was driving what appears to be a 2020 Chevy Colorado.
The suspect description is unknown and the direction of travel from the parking lot is unknown.
