Roanoke Rapids paused to remember the 17th anniversary of 9-11 terrorist attacks this morning at Centennial Park.
Jean Reaves of AMVETS Post 101 honored firefighters attending the ceremony.
The Roanoke Rapids High School JROTC participated in the event as well.
