Roanoke Rapids Savings Bank Board of Directors has announced Robbie Harvell has been named the bank’s new president.
Harvell, who comes to RRSB with an extensive banking background, begins his duties Wednesday.
The Halifax County native is a graduate of Halifax Academy and North Carolina State University.

Harvell is married to Sarah Harvell. The couple has two children ages 18 months and 10 yrs. He is also the son of Joy and Robert Harvell.
Roanoke Rapids Savings Bank, SSB is a state-chartered mutual savings bank headquartered at 325 Becker Drive in Roanoke Rapids with an additional location at 828 Roanoke Avenue in the historic district.
