This past weekend, Given’s Dance Studio, under the instruction of Janice Given, Janelle Given, and Kerri Starnes, danced their way through Disney World.

Through a video application process, they were accepted to participate in Disney’s Performing Arts Program and perform a 15-minute show at Disney Springs. 

They were awarded a Mickey Trophy and special Mickey Mouse Ears. 

Owner of the studio and lead Instructor Janice Given said, “It was a few of our dancers’ first time to Disney World, and we are just so glad we were able to help this dream of performing at Disney come to life. We are so proud of their hard work.” 

Given’s Dance Studio will still be participating in two competitions this season, and their Spring Dance Recital will be held May 16 at The Centre at HCC.

The Spring Recital begins at 2 p.m. with a competition solo/duo showcase at 1 p.m.
