Vidant North is accepting letters of intent for grants to support projects in the program’s health-related focus areas:
- Access to Care and Services (includes Transportation)
- Healthy Lifestyles (Nutrition, Food Security, Physical Activity, Obesity and
Chronic Disease Prevention/Management) - Behavioral Health
- Substance Use/Misuse
- Maternal, Fetal, and Infant Health
Grant funding will be restricted to Halifax and Northampton counties and will not be awarded for medical research.
Only government entities or non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status are eligible for funding.
The grants will be awarded as part of the 2020-2021 Community Benefit Grants Program; the grant cycle period is July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021.
Letters of intent are now being accepted through an electronic process.
