The Weldon Police Department received a report Monday on a missing person — John Jermaine Ausby, 42.
Ausby, according to Chief Chris Davis, was last seen on December 5 around 9 p.m. walking west on Highway 158 towards Roanoke Rapids.
He was wearing a brown jacket, brown or black toboggan or ski hat, black jeans, and brown boots.
Mr. Ausby is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 214 pounds.
