Roanoke Rapids High School’s Project Graduation Jail and Bail is underway today.

That event will be followed with a homecoming pep rally at 2 p.m. and then the annual parade down Hamilton Street to the high school.

At 5 p.m. there will be a tailgate party at the Girl Scout Hut with the money raised benefiting the Roanoke Rapids Sports Club.

Plates are $10 and include barbecue, string beans and boiled potatoes. A DJ will play music.

Following the homecoming game, the pork will be chopped and sold by the pound for $8.
