The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating the larceny of a cellular phone taken from Walmart Saturday.

A man entered the store and removed a cellular device from a sales counter without buying the item. He then exited the building. 

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police department at 252-533-2810 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
