A man wanted in an armed robbery has been arrested and was also charged in a credit card theft scheme Thursday, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office detectives.
Kourtnie Brice James was wanted in a Monday armed robbery in Enfield, Detective Roy Rooks said in a news release.
Rooks arrested James, 20, Thursday and charged him with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.
James, along with Ontarris and Hakeem Armstrong Monday allegedly robbed the victim at gunpoint and took his money. James was jailed on $30,000 bond and has an August 17 court date.

Meanwhile, Detective J. Sealey charged James and 31-year-old Shalonda Monika Pope with financial card theft, six counts of identity theft, two counts of common forgery and two counts of common law uttering, all felonies.
The arrests were made Thursday by Sealey following an investigation that began on June 24 and involved the larceny of a purse containing credit cards and the use of the stolen cards at several local Roanoke Rapids area businesses.
Both James and Pope were given $30,000 bonds and await September 7 court dates. Further details were not immediately available.
