Halifax Aggregates LLC, a subsidiary of Synergy Materials, is inviting Halifax County residents to a community information event on Thursday.

The community event will take place from noon to 7 p.m. at the American Legion Shaw-May Post 38 at 717 American Legion Road in Roanoke Rapids.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the proposed Halifax Aggregates development project, including how it will create what the company says will be high‑paying local jobs and contribute to Halifax County’s long‑term growth.

“Halifax Aggregates recognizes that any new development project brings questions and concerns,” said John Cross, owner of Halifax Aggregates. “This event is an opportunity to address community interests and offer insight into how this project will positively support Halifax County’s economic future. We look forward to connecting with neighbors to discuss our proposed development project and discuss future employment opportunities.”

Members of the Halifax Aggregates management team will be on-site to answer any questions regarding the project, its economic benefits, and any community concerns.
