Edward Jones Financial Advisor Colby Lyles of Roanoke Rapids was named to the 2025 ranking of Top Next−Gen Wealth Advisors Best−in−State in North Carolina by Forbes and SHOOK Research. 

The ranking recognizes top financial advisors younger than 40 who have at least four years of experience.

Since he began his practice in 2018, Lyles has worked with individuals, families and businesses in this community and throughout the United States to provide the highest level of personalized service while following a disciplined process centered on understanding what is most important to his clients. 

He leads a branch team that includes Senior Branch Office Administrator Tiffaney Crowe.

Forbes noted in introducing the honorees, that the wealth management profession has been dominated by older advisors and that their average age is near 56.

Research shows that almost 40 percent of advisors plan to retire within the next 10 years.

Last year, however, 57 percent of new certified financial planners were under the age of 35.
