The Roanoke River Correctional Institution held its 5th annual "Battle of the Badges" basketball fundraiser Saturday at T.J. Davis Recreation center in Roanoke Rapids.

Roanoke River Correctional Institution, formally called Caledonia Correctional Institution hosted the event. This year raising funds for Autism Awareness.  This year's teams included host Roanoke River Correctional, Pasquotank Correctional, Maury Correctional, Central Prison, Nash Correctional and Nash County Sheriff's Office.
