The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain Patrick Jacobs:

Simultaneous search warrants in March have resulted in arrests for drug and gun charges.

The search warrants were for two residences in the Roberts Road area of Rich Square.

There is no information that suggests those arrested worked in conjunction with one another, Jacobs said this afternoon.

Both search warrants, executed by the sheriff’s office, Rich Square Police Department, and the Down East Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, stemmed from citizen complaints of drug sales and weapons violations in the Rich Square community.

In addition to those charges, Reid was charged on a citation after a vehicle stop and traffic violation by Deputy J. Johnson on April 25, the same day he was served outstanding warrants from the search.

Johnson charged him for possession of more than one half ounce of marijuana. He has a July 15 district court date for that charge and an August 7 district court date for the charges stemming from the search warrant.
