About seven juveniles ranging in age from 15 to 18 were detained today following a shooting in which numerous vehicles were struck.

There were no known physical injuries following the shooting which occurred at the Woodland Dollar General Store around 1:45 p.m., according to Captain Patrick Jacobs of the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office.

Jacobs said a motive has not been established.

A suspect vehicle was immediately developed in the case and with the help of the Hertford County Sheriff’s Office and Murfreesboro Police Department one of the suspect vehicles was seized. 

Investigators are working on leads and evidence.
