On Thursday at approximately 5:30 p.m. the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team conducted a saturated patrol in the town limits of Enfield. 

During the patrol, CAT members observed a motor vehicle violation and stopped the vehicle.

Speaking with the occupants, the front seat passenger was identified as Rykeem Alexander, 44, of Williamsburg. It was discovered that Alexander had been entered into NCIC in March of 2024 as a wanted person from Delaware County, Pennsylvania for multiple charges to include resisting arrest. 

Alexander was arrested and processed on a fugitive warrant and placed in the Halifax County Detention Center without the opportunity for bond with a February 28 Halifax County District Court date.
