Weldon Police Chief Davis is requesting help from the puplic:

On March 25, 2019 around 12:37 am, Sgt. T. Mason and Cpl. Q. Godley responded to an alarm call to a business in the 300 block of Washington Ave. When officers arrived on scene, a large rock was found next to the damaged front door. There had been no entry made into the building. After reviewing the security camera footage, officers were able to notice two subjects walk by the front door and then return shortly after carrying a large rock. One subject is seen taking the rock and repeatedly striking the window in an attempt to gain entry to the building, but then suddenly dropping the rock and both subject running away towards 4th street.

If anyone has any information on who these individuals were, please contact Sgt. Mason at (252) 536-1154 or Halifax County Crimestoppers at (252) 583-4444.
