A Roanoke Rapids man faces marijuana charges following a stop Tuesday for a window tint violation.
Roanoke Valley law enforcement reported the following:
Roanoke Rapids City Council Tuesday evening tabled a proposed resolution supporting a 1-cent sales and use tax increase referendum on the ballot in November.
With more students and staff testing positive for COVID-19, RRGSD Board of Trustees voted this evening to remain virtual through March 16 and assess the health data at future board meetings in January and February.
The remaining district courts in Judicial District 6 will resume operations next Tuesday.
