The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Shane Guyant:
A Halifax man was charged Tuesday with removing financial cards from a victim’s purse after pushing her shopping cart away.
Five people within the First Congressional District received congressional certificates from Don Davis’s office for volunteering to interview and recommend eligible applicants for United States service academies.
A man reported missing Tuesday has been located and is unharmed.
