A scam investigation in Roanoke Rapids which bilked an elderly person out of $230,000 in life savings now has a person of interest.
Downeast Pizza Incorporated, which owns the Domino’s on East Tenth Street, had tax liens filed against it in August and September, according to documents filed at the Halifax County Courthouse.
The Halifax County Sheriff's Office is investigating a vandalism that occurred in the area of Robin Road, Roanoke Rapids, on Monday.
The Domino’s on East Tenth Street has been seized for nonpayment of taxes.
