Halifax Community College held its annual School of Health Sciences pinning ceremony Tuesday at the Dr. Ervin V. Griffin Sr. Centre on campus.
Graduates of HCC's Medical Laboratory Technology, Dental Hygiene, and Nursing programs were honored and recognized at the event.
“The pinning ceremony is a significant occasion for healthcare graduates as it symbolizes their entrance into the professional community,” the college said. “During this ceremony, graduates are awarded a pin that represents their profession and signifies their commitment to ethical care. The School of Health Sciences extends a warm welcome to these graduates and hopes that they will contribute positively to the healthcare industry and their patients.”
