A drive is currently underway to help fill the food bank at the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office by donating non-perishable items during the month of February.
The event is honor of American Heart Month and Library Lover’s Month.

In honor of Betty White the library has added pet food to its book giveaway program. Any dog food received will be given to Rainbow Rescue and cat food received will go to Wuffs and Puffs in Scotland Neck.
