Date. Time and Place of Meeting

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12(b)(2) public notice is hereby given that the Halifax County Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room on the second floor of Historic Halifax County Courthouse, 10 North King Street, Halifax, NC.

Purpose of Meeting

Pursuant to G.S. 160D-604(c), the Planning Board will review and comment on proposed development regulations under consideration for adoption as Article IV, Chapter 46, of the Halifax County Code of Ordinances entitled "Mining and Quarrying." The public is invited to attend the meeting.

Upon request Halifax County will provide reasonable accommodation and service for any qualified disabled person who desires to attend the meeting. To request accommodations please contact the Halifax County Planning Department at (252) 583-1082 at least three (3) days prior to the meeting.
