It was back to school today as Roanoke Rapids Early College High School opened its doors to 71 students who make up the first class.
A familiar face has been tapped to lead the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District’s early college program.
Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Trustees, Halifax Community College and Halifax County commissioners cut the ribbon Sunday afternoon on the new Roanoke Rapids Early College High School at the former Armory building next to the historic Roanoke Rapids High School.
