Moseleys, DIRT selected as parade grand marshals

Herman and Ruth Moseley and volunteers from DIRT Ministries will be honored as grand marshals of the 2017 Roanoke Rapids Christmas Parade.

The 2016 Roanoke Rapids Christmas Parade made its way down Roanoke Avenue this afternoon with bands, floats, custom cars, clowns and many other attractions to usher in the season.

Roanoke Rapids kicks off the Christmas season with its annual tree lighting ceremony in Veterans Park Thursday night and its parade Sunday afternoon.
