A man already out of jail on trafficking counts was arrested again after he reportedly handed his stash and cash to a drug agent who encountered him at a convenience store this afternoon.

Captain A.M. Harris of the City County Drug Task Force responded to The Store Next Door on West Fifth Street after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the area.
Harris identified the person as Kevin Ingram, 33. “He admitted he had drugs in his pocket.”
Harris seized cocaine, marijuana, paraphernalia and cash from the Roanoke Rapids man.
Harris arrested Ingram for possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Ingram received a $50,000 bond with an April 5 court date.
Task force Agent J.R. Matthews and Roanoke Rapids Police Department Lieutenant Charles Burnette assisted.
Ingram is currently out on bond after he was arrested earlier this month on trafficking counts. The task force then executed a search warrant at his residence on Victory Lane.
Agents seized approximately 56 grams of cocaine, some of which was in the process of being individually wrapped, approximately 167 grams of marijuana, pills, a handgun and several items of drug paraphernalia.
