Betty Jones , 80 , of Roanoke Rapids passed away February 3, 2024.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son Michael Jones, brothers John Allen, Lester Mayo Jr., and Carlton Council, sisters Ophelia Frasier and Margie Moore.

She is survived by her son Tony Jones (Nancy), grandchildren Justin Jones, Jessica Jones, Heather Jones, Christy Phillips and Joshua Seuis. Great Grandchildren James Phillips, Steven Bedgood Jr, Jacob Byrum, Samantha Bedgood, Leslie Phillips, Cassidy Phillips, Rylee Jones and Jamie Roeder. Her sister in law Lucy Council and Shirley Council. She has a host of nieces and nephews. Also a special friend Novella Newsome. She loved her Pastor, Jeremy Kobernat.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Wrenn Funeral Home on February 6, 2024.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat officiating.
