Steve A. Murphy, 70, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at his home.
Steve was born December 14, 1953, in Coolidge Georgia to the late Harry Augustus Murphy and Dartha Mae Phinazee Murphy.
Steve proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Steve is survived by his wife Ann Murphy; his stepdaughters Patty Stokes (Lee) of Roanoke Rapids and Deborah Hester (Jay) of Gaston; his grandchildren Kim Pearson (Ryan) and Kelsie Hester; great grandchildren Camdyn Garcia, Jessalyn Pearson, and Colton Pearson; his sisters Harriet Manley and Sandra Strickland (Stan) of Thomasville, GA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Thomasville, GA.
