Police department sets medicine drop Saturday

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department will hold a medicine drop Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at CVS.

Those wanting to discard old or unused prescriptions may do so during this event. Veterinary medicine will also be accepted.

The medicine will be turned over to the FBI for disposal.
