RRHS picks up an 11-3 road conference win at Southern Vance.

Hunter Godwin pitched the complete game win.  He struck out 6 batters and gave up only 4 hits.

Leading Hitters for RRHS:  Hunter Godwin, Carson Arthur, and Caleb Pratt each had 2 hits.  Hunter Whitmire and Logan Simonowich each had 1 hit and 2 RBI.

"This was a good bounce back win for us.  Hunter Godwin had an excellent day on the mound.  Our defense played well behind him and limited their chances at scoring.  We hit the ball well also.  We had 10 hits overall and had several hard hit balls right at them.  I am proud of the way we responded to last night's loss.  This team really works well together to get the job done," said coach Mark Snead.

With the win, RRHS improves to 9-3 overall and 6-1 in the conference.  The next game for the Yellow Jackets is at home on Thursday versus Warren County.  The JV game starts at 4:30 with the Varsity game to follow.
