The Roanoke Rapids Police Department continues its investigation into a theft at Bone's Toyota Quality Buick GMC in which three high end technical items were stolen last October.

Detective Bobby Martin said the items are valued close to $10,000 and are not usually resold to drug dealers or pawn shops. “Whoever did this had a background in that world,” he said, referring to mechanics.

The breaking and entering occurred October 3, and the service area was targeted. Of several items taken, three were the most valuable — two Tech Stream laptops and one Barnes Group Key Cutter.

Anyone with information is encouraged to Martin at 252-533-2820; 252-578-8969, or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
