Cornerstone boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Henderson Friday for the first round of the CAANC conference tournament.
Cornerstone girls lost to Victory 15-45 and will play Heritage Saturday for 3rd place.
Cornerstone boys beat Heritage 55-54 and will play Victory Saturday for the CAANC Championship.
After the 2012-13 seaon Cornerstone had only three wins, while this season they are 10-6 in the regular season. The Cornerstone boys team is made up of 7 players, The five starters are 2 Juniors, 2 Sophmores an eighth grader and two sith graders are first year players.
