RV Power U10 travel softball team was able to get both pool games (1-1) in Saturday in Rocky Mount before the rain came in and washed the night away. Rocky Mount was host to the “NC USSSA Out of School Blast” tournament. The tournament was changed from a double to a single elimination bracket.

In the their first bracket game, RV Power defeated the Lady Blaze 9 to 8. Ashton Garner pitched the entire play.

At the plate, Ashton Garner had 2 doubles, Emerson Poole and Cassidy Dickens each had a double, Taylor Floyd had 2 singles while Ashlynn Liles hit triple that brought in the run that tied the game and then scored the winning run carrying RV Power to semi final game.

In that game Spirit Fast-pitch defeated RV Power 10 to 3. The only hit was a double by Lizzy Colston.

Cassidy Dickens and Ashton Garner made double plays for outs for a solid defense for the team.
