HCSO, RRPD seek help in larcenies

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office and Roanoke Rapids Police Department are seeking the public’s help in recent larcenies.

HCSO

Detective R.B. Biggerstaff reports on Tuesday around 8:20 p.m. a man entered Dollar General on Bolling Road and took 10 packs of tank-tops and seven packs of socks and underwear.

RRPD

Lieutenant Charles Vaught reports the police department is investigating two larcenies which occurred on May 25 and May 27 at Family Dollar on Highway 158.
The May 25 larceny occurred around 9:40 a.m. and again at 7:10 p.m. The man took items without paying.
The May 27 larceny occurred around 12:30 p.m. where several items were stolen.
