The items seized. The items seized. Enfield Police Department

Enfield police continue a drug probe of a South McDaniel Street house its detective called a “one-stop shop for everything.”

Police Wednesday, with assistance from the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, seized 5.7 grams of crack; 33.3 grams of marijuana; 20 dosage units of ecstasy; 12 dosage units of prescription pain medication as well as two digital scales, two firearms and other paraphernalia.
Enfield police Detective Willie Murphy Jr. said he began his investigation a month ago but believes the house was operating long before that. “There’s a lot of foot traffic, a lot of cars in and out at night, early in the morning.”
Chief Tyree Davis said in a statement the police department executed a search warrant for the residence around 8 p.m. The search warrant was based on complaints received by Davis from citizens.
Murphy and Officer Shatel Coates conducted the investigation, which led to the warrant being granted.
Sheriff’s office Sergeant J. Bozard, his dog Fino and deputies S. Bryant and M. Zughbi assisted along with other officers of the police department.
Murphy charged Tito Harper, 36, of Enfield, with felony possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana. He received a $1,000 bond and is scheduled for court on May 17.
Jackie Marie Langley, 33, of Battleboro, was issued a uniform citation for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and a June 13 court date.
Additional warrants and charges will be obtained on other individuals as a result of the search warrant, Davis said in the statement.
