Woman charged in stabbing following domestic dispute

A Roanoke Rapids woman was charged in a Wednesday night stabbing stemming from a domestic dispute.

Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Casey Sherrod charged Tierra Naria Reeves, 31, with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury after responding to Suzanne Circle on a stabbing call around 10 p.m..
Sherrod learned the victim was stabbed in the neck with a knife and was transported to a trauma unit where they are listed in good condition.
Reeves was jailed without opportunity for bond and awaits a March 29 court date, Chief Deputy Scott Hall said in a statement.
Reeves and the victim were in a dating relationship.
Sergeant Josh Langley and Corporal Dustin Newsome assisted.
