Man charged with making 16 harassing phone calls

An Enfield man was charged Wednesday for reportedly making 16 harassing phone calls in violation of a domestic violence protective order.

Chief Deputy Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a statement on the matter involved a domestic issue.

Detective R.M. Brown charged Jarvis Levon Boone, 28, with 16 counts of violating an ex-parte order.
Hall said in the statement Boone has been convicted twice of violating the order, once last August and once this month.
He remains in jail without opportunity for bond.
