Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings could not keep up with Rocky Mount Academy Eagles 6-2 Tuesday at Halifax.

Rocky Mount got on the board in the top of the second inning with 4 runs,

Payton Odom took the loss for the Vikings giving up five runs (three earned) on eight hits, striking outfive and walking none.

Odom led Halifax with two hits in three at bats. Miranda Braswell and Karson Ricks each drove in one run for the Vikings.

Halifax drops to a 2-3 overall record and travel to Faith Christian Friday.
