The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce announces that Ginny Lewis, former president, submitted her resignation effective immediately.
Her last working day was June 4.
The Roanoke Valley Chamber is grateful for former president Ginny Lewis’s contributions to our organization and the business community, and we wish her the best in any future endeavors.
While this leadership transition comes unexpectedly, the board of directors is confident in the strength and resilience of the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Our dedicated staff, valued members, board of directors and partners remain fully committed to advancing our mission of supporting local businesses, driving economic growth and fostering a vibrant community.
This moment of change presents an opportunity to reflect, refocus and innovate.
As we move forward, the Roanoke Valley Chamber remains committed to serve as a strong voice for our members and a catalyst for positive impact in our region.
In the upcoming days, the board of directors will quickly determine an interim leadership plan and then launch the search for our next Roanoke Valley Chamber president.
During this time of transition, chamber operations and member services will continue without interruption.
