Mary Bray Ellis, 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. 

She is the daughter of the late Edward Mark Moody and Fannie Mabel Moody. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Gray Bray. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Ellis, son, Edward Mark Bray (Pam), stepdaughters, Emilie Holland (Bogart), Rhonda Kessinger (Bill) and JoAnn Wright, stepson, Cecil Gray Bray, grandsons, Madison Bray, Cullen Bray, William Bogart Holland Jr. and Brooks Wright, sister, Jean Moody.

Mary enjoyed gardening and getting her fingers in the dirt. She liked growing her fruits and vegetables. She loved her flowers, tomato plants and her two dogs. Mary enjoyed spending time at her Koi Pond. 

A visitation will be held at Philadelphia Church on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 1:00pm. 

A funeral service will immediately follow starting at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Church Cemetery, 6072 Triplet Road, Lawrenceville, VA 23868.
