Brenda Davis Collins, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, loved deeply by her family.
A devoted wife, mama, Granny and Gigi, Brenda lived her life with a gentle spirit, a generous heart and a deep love for the people she cherished most.
Brenda dedicated 35 years of service to PNC Bank, formerly Planters National Bank and Centura Bank, where she was known for her integrity, dependability, and kindness.
After retirement, she continued doing what she loved, serving others by working as the bookkeeper at Chockoyotte Country Club, where she formed many dear friendships.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Linwood “Doc” Davis Sr. and Neta Parks Davis, her brother, Spencer Dean Davis and wife, Brenda Davis, and her brother, Linwood Lawrence Davis Jr., and wife, Betty Davis.
Brenda is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Hodges Collins, who lovingly stood by her side through every chapter of their life together. She was the proud mother of April Collins Yawn and husband, Dwain Yawn of Mississippi, and Anita Collins Fleming and husband, Thomas “Ted” Fleming Sr. of Roanoke Rapids.
She was blessed with grandchildren who were the light of her life, Collin Davis Hobbs and wife Lauren, MacKenzie Clements Crowder and husband Richard, Ashleigh Fleming Mizelle and husband Ryan, Thomas “Teddy” Fleming Jr. and fiancée Karley Eason, and Andrew “Andy” Fleming. Her love extended to her great grandchildren, Landyn Hobbs, Lucas Hobbs and Colson Crowder, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Brenda is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by two of her dearest lifelong friends, Ronnie and Dianne MacDonald of Virginia Beach, who remained constant in her life.
Brenda will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her quiet strength, her soft laughter, and her ability to make everyone around her feel at ease. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faithfulness, and grace that will continue to live on in all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 starting at 11:00am in Cedarwood Cemetery with Pastor Stan Lewis officiating.
