Fredrick Frazier Etheridge “Fred”, 96, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy Edward Etheridge and Estelle Browning Etheridge and brothers, Theodore Etheridge and Rudolph Etheridge.
Fred is survived by his wife, Merle Louise Etheridge, daughter, Tamera Etheridge and son, Richard Etheridge (Saida), nieces and nephews, Zan Day (Frieda), Ray, Roy and Joann Etheridge, Kelly Powell, Carol Abbitt, Cathy Ushery.

Fred liked golf, working in the yard, and enjoyed a meal at Second Street. He was a member of the Roanoke Baptist Church for over 57 years. Fred was very proud of his service in the Air Force. He was a devoted husband, father and brother.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Wrenn Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Cedarwood Cemetery starting at 2:00pm with Pastor Rick Rogers officiating.
