Ronald Wayne Blanton, 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Daniel Blanton Sr. and Gladys Pauline Blanton, brothers, John Blanton, Donald Blanton, R.D. Blanton Jr, sister in law, Shirley Blanton and special friend, Jean Simmons. 

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Lisa Blanton Bennett (Arthur J. Bennett), brother, Michael Keith Blanton (Betty Ann Blanton), grandson, Daniel Bennett, nieces and nephews, Billy Blanton, Travis Blanton, Jeremy Killian, Erin Blanton, and Ricky Johnson.

Ronald was a bass player for The Country Waves with his brothers in the 70’s and 80’s, he also enjoyed drawing. Ronald was a fearless gamer, he enjoyed playing video games with his grandson every Saturday. 

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
