The Roanoke Rapids recreation and police departments are looking for individuals who want to host a trunk for this year’s trunk or treat which will be held at Carolina Street between Fifth and Sixth streets on October 31.

The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Set up time is at 4 p.m.

To host a trunk participants need a vehicle, a family friendly theme for the vehicle and giveaways such as sealed candy, sealed healthy snacks or small prizes.

Trunk participants are encouraged to wear a costume.
