The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain A.M. Harris:

This afternoon around 1, Agent H.G. Phillips arrested Tyvonne Mandell Storey, 40, of the 100 block of Hamilton Street on outstanding warrants. 

Phillips had conducted an investigation on Storey because of citizen complaints of drug activity.  During the investigation, Harris said Storey sold crack cocaine on two occasions during an undercover operation.   

Storey was served with the warrants for two counts each of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, sell cocaine and deliver cocaine. 

He received a $10,000 bond with an August 18 court date. 

On Monday around 2 p.m. Harris conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation in the 1000 block of Highway 903. During the search of the vehicle crack cocaine was seized. 

Harris arrested and charged Victoria Peterson, 52, of Hamill Street for possession of cocaine. 

Peterson received a $1,500 bond with an August 18 court date.
