The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is requesting assistance with the identification of a person who was responsible for stealing a motor vehicle at Sheetz Sunday shortly after 2 p.m.

The vehicle is described as a black 2000 Ford Expedition with North Carolina tags PHS-7571.
