Roanoke Rapids police are looking for a man who has been missing since Sunday.
Captain Jamie Hardy said this morning police received a report that Francisco Javier Godinez Sevilla was last seen on the front porch at 1031 Vance Street around 1:30 Sunday morning.
Hardy said Sevilla has no cognitive impairments. He does take liver medication and has a scar in the upper portion of his chest.
He is known to frequent the Colonial Drive area of Roanoke Rapids. He stands 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs around 110 pounds. He is 49 years old and is not fluent in English.
Hardy said Sevilla was last seen wearing a baseball cap, gray and blue striped button-up shirt, jeans and black tennis shoes.
It is also possible he might have been wearing a light purple dress long-sleeve dress shirt with possibly a bird — maybe an ostrich — on the back, dark blue dress pants, black dress shoes and a black cowboy hat, according to the family’s account.
